2 years ago, “Ride Engineers Switzerland” (“RES”) introduced itself as brand-new company to the market for amusement rides. Innovative ride concepts and collaborative customers allow a successful market presence. Today, Ride Engineers Switzerland signed a project contract with Conny-Land, a Swiss amusement park. In Schwabenpark, a German amusement park, the roller – ball, a concept presented at EAS in 2016, is ready for final TÜV testing.
Vertical Dark Ride for “Conny-Land”
The amusement park “Conny-Land”, based in Eastern Switzerland, is adding a new attraction for its visitors. The contract for this project, which is planned for 2020, was signed at the European Attraction Show EAS Amsterdam by Roby Gasser from Conny-Land and Willy Walser, RES. A vertical dark ride will allow a unique story-telling experience. This part of the project will be developed by Nick Farmer from Farmer Attractions Development. The ride fits into the concept of Conny-Land, where the park visit shall be fun even in rainy weather. Ride Engineers Switzerland have already built other vertical rides around the globe, which fulfil to the market demand of interactivity and multi-media.
“Wilde Hilde” – the Roller-ball concept of 2016 now ready to be launched at “Schwabenpark”
The ride “Wilde Hilde” in Schwabenpark, Southern Germany, is based on the concept “Roller-ball”. This vertical coaster is themed after a “chicken barn” and fits perfectly into the scenery of the park. The ride is installed, more than 3’000 test rides have been successfully made. In order to fulfil the needs for younger children, the ride was enhanced and will undergo a final TÜV check within the upcoming weeks.
In 2016, Ride Engineers also presented the innovative “Air Loop”, a coaster with tracks in the shape of an “8”, making the dream of flying (almost) true. The patent for this unique ride is underway.
